Thomas Gray born circa 1760, was a Romany, who married Susannah Faben , a gorja woman from Burwell, Cambridgeshir, who was baptised at Burwell in 1768, the daughter of William Faben and Susannah Rolphe. They were married 16.06.1791 at Burwell.
It is suggested that Thomas Gray was a possible son of Thomas & Elizabeth Gray, known Romanies, who lived in the right area at the right time, and had a son, Oseri, born at Horningsea, Cambridge, a place that Thomas is later listed as coming from. According to the Heron Pedigree by the Revd Geo Hall, Toms sons Jack and Tom were brothers of Oseri Gray. As this has been proven innaccurate, I suggest they were cousins - who were linked via Tom and Elizabeth. They were certainly all brothers in law, the three having married 3 sisters, Urie, Eliza and Millia Heron.
